Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) awareness Program

Guest Lecture on” Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing – SAP” as a Trending Technologies was organized by Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology on 18th December 2019 by Computer Science and Engineering Department. The main speaker for the Session was Mr. Sairam Nedunuri who is presently working as an Associate Manager, Business Technology Integration and architecture at Accenture, Plainsboro, New Jersey USA.

In his lecture, Mr. Sairam discussed SAP (system Applications Products in Data Processing) ERP software which helps to run day to day business. SAP software suite maps financial, logistics, human resources, and many other business processes.

He conveyed the importance of R/3 and explained its architecture. SAP R/3 is an enterprise-wide information system designed to coordinate all the resources, information and activities needed to complete business processes such as order fulfillment, billing, human resource management, and production planning. Currently, R/3 is known as  S/4HANA has the following certification courses on FI (Financial Accounting, CO (Controlling), AM (Fixed asset management), MM (Material Management), PP (Production Planning), HR (Human Resources), PM (plant maintenance). He Clued-up the students about the courses on Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing and with the prospects of getting the Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing certification.

The session ended with Q and A, where the students got a clear understanding of the certification and also about the future aspects.
