Key Focus

Civil Engineering at Sreyas is built around infrastructure-focused learning, laboratory practice, and industry-relevant technical exposure for students preparing to work on real-world public and industrial projects.
Civil engineering is one of the foundational engineering disciplines, focused on planning, construction, maintenance, and improvement of the built environment. It spans bridges, roads, railways, structures, water supply, irrigation, environmental systems, transportation, and public infrastructure.
The department was established in the academic year 2014-2015 and currently offers an intake of 30 B.Tech students, with a learning model centered on practical exposure and academic discipline.
Students learn in state-of-the-art laboratories covering concrete technology, highway materials testing, soil mechanics, surveying, and environmental engineering. The department also undertakes sponsored research and industrial consultancy work beyond the academic curriculum.
The faculty team brings experience from IITs, NITs, KU, JNTU, and other premier institutes, supported by a range of civil engineering specializations and a strong focus on applied technical learning.
Students should complete 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry along with qualifying in TG EAPCET (formerly TS EAMCET).
Students are guided through training programs, skill development initiatives, and exposure to industry practices to improve career readiness.
The department includes well-equipped laboratories such as structural engineering labs, surveying equipment, and environmental engineering facilities.
Sreyas Institute is NAAC accredited and offers NBA-accredited programs, ensuring quality standards in education.
Graduates can explore opportunities in construction, infrastructure development, urban planning, and government projects.
The curriculum emphasizes hands-on training, lab work, and real-world exposure to strengthen technical understanding.
